Witness appeal following robbery in Norton Canes


We’re appealing for witnesses following a robbery that took place in Cannock on Monday 15 January.

A man entered the One Shop Stop store on Norton East Road, at around 10.50pm and demanded for the till to be opened. He was carrying a kitchen knife, and took a quantity of cash before fleeing.

Once he left the store, the offender ran off towards Breeze Avenue.

Fortunately no one was hurt during the incident, but a member of staff was understandably shaken.

The offender is described as a white male, and he was wearing a black woolly hat, a black scarf around his face and a blue tracksuit.
