Driver killed in crash near M6 in Shareshill named as Laxman Swali

A driver killed in a horror crash near Wolverhampton has been named as Laxman Swali.
His Peugeot 107 collided with a car transporter on Cannock Road, Shareshill – just off Junction 11 of the M6 – at around 12.05pm on Monday, December 2.
Despite the best efforts of medics, the 28-year-old, from Wolverhampton, died at the scene .
The driver of the car transporter was uninjured.
Specialist officers are supporting Mr Swali’s family at this time.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to appeal for witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
Anyone with information which could help the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting incident 237 of December 2.
