'First I've heard of it' – Caretaker boss Delap on Stoke's O'Neill approach

Written by on November 7, 2019

Stoke City’s caretaker manager Rory Delap says he is unaware of the club’s approach to secure the services of Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill.

“It’s the first I’ve heard. I’ve literally come off the training pitch this morning, had my dinner and come up here,” former Republic of Ireland international Delap told a news conference.

“My focus is on Saturday’s game against Barnsley.”
