Live updates: M6 closed at Junction 10 after FIVE cars involved in crash – six casualties

Six people are being treated for injuries after a serious crash on the M6 in Staffordshire this evening.
The smash has happened between Junction 10a for Essington and Junction 10 for Walsall at 6.40pm.
Traffic is building all the way up to Junction 11 for Cannock.
A tweet from Highways England says: “All lanes are currently blocked due to a Road traffic collision on #M6 Southbound between J10a #Essington /M54link and J10 #Walsall . #TrafficOfficers are on route. Congestion has already started to back up to J11.”
It is understood six people have been treated with first aid at the scene.
