Man airlifted to hospital with burns after incident at Cliff Lakes

A man was airlifted to hospital this afternoon after an incident at Cliff Lakes in Dosthill.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 3.20pm to a report of a man suffering from burns.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance service said: “One ambulance and two paramedic officers were then sent to the scene along with an air ambulance from Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.

“We discovered one man had suffered from burns and he received treatment at the scene.

“He was then airlifted to QE hospital in Birmingham. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.”

Police and fire service also attended the scene.
