After leaving the Express & Star, where I was feature writer, TV critic and sub-editor, I started a radio show called The Curve Ball in 2006 for a station in Wolverhampton, before moving to Stafford and finally Cannock Chase Radio on its launch in 2018. I've been on the lookout for interesting new music ever since the mid-60s when The Beatles proved that you could experiment AND be successful! These days, though, such music is a little harder to find . . . which is where The Curve Ball comes in . . .
