Outlook for the next four week from the JMA.
Written by Steve Hopley on July 3, 2020
This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1, 2nd July to 8th.
Low pressure is over most of the UK with just southern most counties being closer to higher pressures. During this period we will have around average rainfall for our area with Scotland and northern parts of England receiving above average rainfall. It looks to be fairly cool with temperatures overall being one or two degrees below average for early July.
Week 2, 9th July to 15th.
Very little change from the previous period. Low pressure will be over most of the UK, so around average rainfall and temperatures one or two degrees below average.
Week 3-4 16th July to 29th.
This is a two week period, low pressure looks to be over the UK. This would bring little change in our weather, overall cool with some showers.
