This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1, 16th July to 22nd.
High pressure is located over southern and western parts of the UK, with low pressure to the North. This setup would bring rather a cool feel with the temperature a couple of degrees below average. Rainfall is expected to be around average, so overall fairly dry.
Week 2, 23rd July to 29th.
Low pressure is over the UK and this would bring a rather cool feel with the temperatures a couple of degrees below average with slightly above average rainfall, so expect frequent showers with the odd rainy day.
Week 3-4, 30th July to 12th August.
Low pressure is located to the East of the UK, again this would bring temperatures a couple of degrees below average. Rainfall will be around average so the odd shower is to be expected.
