Outlook from the JMA for the next four weeks.
Written by Steve Hopley on July 9, 2020
This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1, 9th July to 15th.
High pressure looks to be over the UK during this period. Rainfall will be around average for July so fairly dry, but it’s looking rather cool with the temperatures around 2-3 degrees below average.
Week 2, 16th July to 22nd.
Slack air pressures is around the UK. This would bring fairly dry conditions, with temperature just below average but a degree or two up on the previous period.
Week 3-4, 23rd July to 5th August.
This is a two week period and slack air pressure is over the UK to bring little in the way of any change. So a rather cool feel with the temperatures around 1-2 degrees below average but it will be fairly dry.
