Police appeal for owner of wallet full of drugs found in Co-op – alongside their driving licence

Police want to know if you’ve left your wallet, and drugs, down near the local Co-op?
Staffordshire Police are inviting the wallet’s owner to come and collect it – and chat about the drugs.
The wallet and drugs, as well as the provisional driving licence, were handed into cops in Cannock, in Staffs.
Now police are urging the owner to come and collect their wallet – and they’re wondering whether it could be yours, as our sister title reports.
StokeonTrentLive reports a Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Wallet handed in. Found near to Co-Op, Hednesford.”
The force continued: “Collection service now available Cannock station and officers are happy to take an account for the other item found within.”
The wallet, and the drugs, were found near the Co-op in Hednesford in Cannock – along with the owner’s provisional driving licence – on Saturday September 7.
