Local men charged following burglary series: Three local men have been charged with a number of offences following a recent burglary series in Burslem and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Kevan Shaw, 51, of Scott Lidgett Road, Stoke-on-Trent, was charged with a total of 10 offences including two counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, failure to provide a sample for Class A drug test, and failure to provide specimen for analysis.
Other charges for Shaw included driving a motor vehicle dangerously, attempted burglary with intent to steal, failure to stop for police, vehicle interference, and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
Harlem Stone, 53, of Tellwright Street, Stoke-on-Trent, received three charges including burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and theft from a person.
Simon Hunt, 49, of Easdale Place, Newcastle-under-Lyme, was charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
Shaw and Stone appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme today (17 December). Hunt was released on conditional bail. ... See MoreSee Less
